Mom....thank you... you truly don't know how much I love you and appreciate all you do for me. I saw this week a mom crying and weeping and taking care of her son that was drunk, drugged, and throwing up... and she was doing everything possible to help this man(25/30 yrs old) it made me realize how much mothers do for their filhos and I really wanted to say thank you cause I know I wasn't easy for you and always gave you problems and really I'm sorry for it. But I'm glad I see the "bigger picture" now. ;P Love you.

Sucks that President Moody was released, and all of them, but the lord has all the cards and plays them when he needs to and holds them for a better time to play. We just gotta sit back n learn from the best :):):):)

I don't have the stuff from Christmas. Can you send a hat and stuff again? ;D I am still with the same comp but I think we might be transferred. I'll know by the end of today but I'll tell you what goes down next week.

I love you a lot mom. And, thank you for everything. ;P

Love, Greg

Okay.

So, my comp is from Rio Grande do Sul. (Or in other words big river of the south ha hah), but he's got 6 months in the mission and it's definitely a big change for me, but I'm getting there. He's got a lot of fire for the work. I love being with him though. It's a big change, but for the good...so be proud! ;P Hey, can you send me a picture of me when I was eight years old, that's a good picture, and also a picture of the family??

So that's awesome that everyone's doing good! ha hah! It's awesome to know that your doing good too. Oh, I had a dream this morning... and I dreamed there were cookies on my bed next to me, and when I woke up they weren't there... it was sad for me... ahahah!!

Today some of the missionaries are getting together and we're doing a big BBQ together and playing volleyball. So today's gonna be fun. I also have a new song that I love. It's called "Little Girl" by Montgomery Gentry. It's so a story of the Church! Also, "I Need You" by Faith Hill. Ha hah--its good. I'm also starting to like Reggae, or Jamaican music...

But, I'm doing good. I like your talk... it's very inspirational and stuff :) How's Gpa Ludwig doing.. and Gpa Blau..? Are they doing good ??

I love u a lot and miss you tons, but I love the mission. :)

love u mom bye :)

Oh my heck Alisa grew up! ha ha! She is gonna be trouble for dad n me... and I was online but only cause my comp needed to get on and I was like well hey I'll just put them up now so I did.

Also the fubeca is just what they called me. hahah! No I'm not slacking off... just something they did to joke with. Nothing big mom, promise. I'm not a dead beat robot that only works, but I'm an easy going but hardworking, relaxed missionary that teaches and baptizes a lot of people and knows how to have fun doing it.
I have faith that all will be well.

I always wanted to go to the beach ... there are so many super cute ....fish there and smokin' hot.... rocks to hold and rub sunblock on... ;P heheh! love you!

So I'm teaching this one lady that is 40 yrs old... looks like she is 60 and is as tall as Heather... maybe even shorter. But super cool. She lives in the Favela da Coca... or in other words a small place where tons of people built houses by themselves that aren't really nice and they are super small. For the entrance to this place, you walk over a bridge above the open sewer line. Then pass tons of gigantic porks and dead dogs that they eat, then u get to the houses... hahah! And everyone there wants to steal something from you, so we gotta be careful... :) but its coo!

My apartment is super cool. I'll make a video of it so when I get home I can just show you. I have my own section of the house to sleep and put my clothes and stuff but it's one of the nicest houses in the mission.

...And it is true! The more you pray, the hotter your future wife gets, and the more time you spend in the rain walking in the mission, the sexier and better kisser she gets! ;P Ha! ha!

I'm working hard mom and I'll tell you with assurity that I'm doing good. ;P

I love u mommy ;)))))D

Well, this transfer has had its ups and downs. We started out with 5 baptisms marked and they all fell through. All of the people basically ran and hid from us. Then we got a referral and talked to this mom that wasn't active anymore, but her daughter visits the church on a regular basis so we talked to the mom and she signed the paperwork and agreed to let her daughter get baptized and then the day of we called her cause she didn't show up to the church at the time we said and she was like, "Oh, I don't want her to get baptized anymore...." so there goes that. Then we had a miracle. A family was given to us as a reference and we were like heck this is awesome. they don't have any problems with any commandments and are perfect they just need to get married. a member said he.ll take care of it and do all the paper work and stuff on Monday so we can get them hitched Wednesday and baptize them Saturday. well the member didn't do the paperwork so we went in Tuesday and the lady said that if we came in Monday they would have been able to get the paperwork in by Tuesday to marry them on wed. so ya were pissed a little bit but what can ya do. this transfer has been a big race and we got to the finish line and couldn't cross it... so close but so far away. so I hope we don't get transferred cause we can still baptize the family but it'll be in the next transfer.

there was a activity with the ward and branch combined and the goal was to bring friends(non-members) to the activity and then we(the missionaries) would talk to them and hopefully they'll accept us but also they were playing soccer there too well let me just say that I'm pretty dang good at soccer now. I scored two goals and I can kick the ball really good too. ha hah never thought I'd see the day, but ya! I am good at soccer!

My days are pretty much the same still. Wake up study shower go to lunch then start our day of proselyting. Then around 8pm we go to a members house and visit a little bit before going home to shower and sleep again. ha ha nothing too special but routine.

this area I'm in is better than the last cause its an actual city! ha ha with roads and stores and car lots stuff. And the city isn't on a giant mountain, however they do have a big hill and at the top of it they have a giant statue of Jesus Christ. so for a pday two weeks ago we went up to the top of it. So that was awesome.

So ya this is whats been going on. ha ha!

love ya mom. :) if there's anything else you wanna know just email me the questions k. love ya

I don't know if we are getting transferred, but I was told that the two of us will go to the meeting but without our suitcases soooo idk....
ooooh hey tell betsi that i got her box :P and it was wonderful

Alright, so we`ve been teaching this guy named Plinio. he's married to a lady that is less active and recently was returning to the church but for 4 yrs. He,s known about the church and received the lessons and everything. Then me and my comp came along.

Plinio recently suffered an accident and his car rolled three times... a week earlier a person from the LDS church gave him a piece of paper that read "God has something big planned for you." He was amazed by this so he allowed us (me n my comp) to teach him. He accepted everything and wanted to be baptized but not now.... he was putting it off and wouldn't set a day.

Then yesterday, Sunday the 4th of 2011, I went up to the front and bore my testimony of when I was about 10 years old and I was walking down the store isle, and out of nowhere, I felt like I need to cover my sister up (alisa who was like 2 yrs old) and right as I did a stack of chairs fell on top of me.

(mom I don't know if u remember this or not but anyway), as I was telling this story, it touched Plinio, so deeply that he started crying. The spirit filled his soul and he heard a voice tell him, "I kept you alive, so this young man can save your soul." After sacrament got over, he came up and asked me to show him the Baptismal Font. When I showed him he asked when we do baptisms. I said "Any time and day that you want." He started to cry again and said that he wanted me to baptize him now....

We embraced and he was baptized then n there.

The holy ghost really is there and god does answer our prayers, and we just have to show our faith and work for what we want.

But I will never forget that day. ;P

May 25, 2011

Hi!

I'm feeling better but the headache is still here. I still don't know what it is but I talked to Sister Beynon and she said if it keeps up to go to the hospital and get checked out..... ha hah I said id love to go get checked out by a bunch of Brazilian nurses ha hah helllooooo NURSE!! ha hah jkjk

But, personally I'd rather deal with frogs than these roaches. You could cut their head off and the body would still run around and the eyes blink back at you. They're creepy.

I got my package and yes I opened it up and yes I love it ;);) it was perfect. I loved the fun dips :):):):)

Tell Danny he's a doofus. And I did model cars for my hobby for a while. It’s good too, cause you learn about the different parts of the cars as well.
I think Ty will do an excellent job, and that for sure Chris will be something higher up on the line.
Ha hah! A bird named Pickles... what songs does he sing?????
Yah, there's tons of stuff going on all over the country and it is ending. Sucks for the guy though. I guess that's what you get when you try to say what God’s going to do when you’r not sustained to do so.
Right now we have four people we are teaching. One that looks promising and three molho. That means they're, like, so-so bout baptism.

My comp has stayed out of my stuff but we'll see how it goes.

I like the saying too, about the saving souls one knock at a time but there's one problem with that... we don't knock we clap hands.. ha hah!

But I love you and hope you do well on your schoolwork.
Love you mom. bye
