Aaalllll right, so yes I know I haven't really written you a long letter but that's because I just am lazy and don't like to type. not cause I don't love you just pure laziness. so the transfer is coming to an end and I think I'm getting a new comp. but its been fun. im in Palmeira dos Indios. (palmeira of the indians) ha ha don't ask why its called that cause I don't know. But its a cool area. They have a hill/mountain here where at the top is a giant statue of Christ like the one in Rio de Janeiro. and yeah I've been to the top. It's a long walk in the heat and when you get to the top you look out and can see the city and take pictures then you go back down the hill and about half way down you decide that it was a stupid idea. I decided I really want ice cream, a car, and a huge desire to jump in a pool and do the makaraina... I ran out of water and was kinda dehydrated.. but all in all it was fun. :) We've had two baptisms and tons of fall through's but I'm hoping to get one last baptism in before the end of the week but we.ll see how that goes.

So with my comp we have made chocolate chip cookies three times, oatmeal cookie bars twice, and cinnamon rolls. I liked the cinnamon rolls the most. But cream cheese is super expensive here and hard to find. It's 8 bucks for 200 mg. I think that's what it is. Anyway its a tiny little container and we need to buy two of them. And between all the meetings and traveling I don't have the luxury to buy tons of stuff. By the way, thanks for sending me the extract, mom. We made pancakes with real syrup and I'm gonna make root beer! ha ha :) but other than that, I still eat tons of rice and beans, and spaghetti.

Oh, also... so the mosquitos have been attacking my face. It looks like a I got into a fight with someone that had on tons of rings with diamonds on them. That and a spider bit my right ring finger on the knuckle, so I just tie them all into a big story and say I got jumped and the guy had on rings and was tearing up my face but I gave him a one hit wonder in his jaw and broke out some teeth. Ha hah! some people believed me too, but yeah, it's not too much fun having a face all jacked up.

Hey so me and another missionary were talking and we decided that we miss alot of stuff. Starting with pop tarts, (ha ha) then mt dew, root beer, cafe rio, one dollar burgers, and walmart, 12 gauge shotguns and being able to drive down an actual paved road and not have to dodge millions of stray animals. Also country music. I love country music, and mom, they ain't got nothing here!! ha ha! Just some weird strange music. Some of it's ok but man... the music selection sucks and is annoying. But... what can I do about that... right...?

It's awesome that I'll get to talk to ya in like two weeks!!! Seems like yesterday it was Christmas and I got to see ya. The days pass by so slowly but the weeks fly by. I'm going into my 6th transfer. I have 8 months in the mission field and 16 more months to go. It can't come any sooner. It feels like life is slipping away from me while I'm stuck out here so far away. I know what I'm doing is important and I love it to death but at the same time nothing is better than being at home and sitting down at the table and watching Jacob alisa and Daniel fighting for the last roll while Heather slips by grabs it and starts to eat it while they're still fighting. Ha ha or to tell u the truth, I miss hearing you yelling at them for anything they did wrong. or you yelling at me cause I didn't wanna listen to what you had to say. ha ha! Sorry about that by the way! Ha ha but, I miss ya alot. I love ya mama and I will always be your son. love ya

ok mom here is a missionary experience from one of my companions. When I was with my first companion, he was telling me that when he was with another companion and they got a call asking them to come over and help his wife. They asked the Elders to give her a blessing. When they got over there, they asked him what was wrong and he said that she had been acting weird and talking to herself in a strange voice. When they walked into the room, she was talking in a demonic voice and they felt she was possessed!! So they said they would give her a blessing and then leave. While they were giving the blessing, she was laughing "devilishly," (Heather, thought you might like that! ha! ha!) but seriously, she was laughing and then in that demon voice, said, "If I leave, you won't like the one that will come next"........ yeah.... so, lesson learned here is that Satan is real. It is not a joke, and he is not joking. So the scary truth is... those scary movies aren't all that fake.

Hey mom.
sorry this is late but today was an activity and everything was just running late and I'm just getting back to my area Sao Miguel and I'm using a members comp... yes, I know, but I wanted to send you an email real quick.

That's good Daniel got 4th in losers bracket and I know you love us all mom and we all love you too...we just like to fight with parents is all. Blame it on tv and public school! haha love ya :)

At least the school accepted some of your credits instead of none of them. I feel close to you when I pray, too. love you. Oh hey, also Ummm... ask Daniel if he has any teachers; males with long hair and if he doesn't, ask Jake and Alisa, and then if any of them say yes, tell them to behave in that class .. to not do anything against the rules.

I hope I can be just like Dad, too. :)) You're welcome for the video and don't stress about dad's knee. Everything always works out in the end. Wanna know why???!!??!?!!? Because there is never an end :)

ALSO TELL GPA I GOT THE BOX THEY SENT AND I LOVE THEM TO DEATH!!!! THEY SENT PEANUT BUTTER AND 6 PACKAGES OF BEEF JERKY!!!

haha yea I kinda stayed awake in church haha but it was good. it was the primary thing for sacrament so it was cool. We baptized one lady on Christmas and we will have another new year's day. I love the picture of Daniel in his outfit haha it's pretty awesome. he's such a ladies man... pouco frutinha though.. love ya Daniel. That's awesome about the story of Chalet that's the power of the garments and being a missionary right there. haha I've actually seen those movies while out in the mission haha they're really hilarious in Portuguese. I really was glad I got to talk to you guys and see your pretty faces. :) love you and hope you're doing well!

Hey Mom,
My week has been good. I baptized two more people haha i'm on fire! ;) but really this area is just really good. I'm looking forward to the Christmas cards! I love hearing about what's going on. It's ok about the Christmas tree haha i'll try to get a picture of me and Santa to you soon. I always hated post offices anyways haha people there are postal. That's awesome that everything went good for you with subbing. Just remember that kids are punks and if they don't want to listen just send them to the dean's and tell the teacher the next day haha! The days are like this.. wake up, study the scriptures and language, and eat breakfast, shower, and go to lunch at a member's house. then we come home, shower again, and rest for a bit. Then go back out till 8:30 - 9 then return home, eat dinner, and chill. Shower as well!! haha the people here are amazing and really relaxed. everyone is willing to help and none of them will slam the door haha!! One thing that's funny is the house doors are always open but if they don't want to talk they just say "No, I don't wanna talk to you" or "go away" but normally they're all awesome. The roaches haven't been a problem, but the ants are driving me insane!! I hate them!! haha Tell Daniel to keep up the good work, and I hope everything goes well for you!

Dear Family,

Yeah I'm still with the same comp and I love it!!! He's awesome byt he leaves for home the 16th. I already know my next companion. He's Brazilian, black, and doesn't speak English haha soooo this will be interesting. hah Mom... why not the hooker for the Santa picture??? Everything is good. My health and body and everything is still good. My legs are a bit tired from walking the hill so much, but what can ya do. That's awesoem that Daniel went 2-1. Could you put a film of him wrestling on the SD card too? I would like that to see him wrestle and how he's doing.

first off... ALISA U CANT HAVE ANY BOYFRIENDS TILL yoUR AT LEAST 16 AANNNDD NOT TILL AFTER I'VE TALKED TO THEM!!! IF ANYONE IS GOING TO BE MY LITTLE SISTER'S BOYFRIEND I NEED TO APPROVE THEM FIRST. yes i'm stoked to talk to you on Christmas and i hope that everything will work out so i can talk to u for a long time ;) i just hope i can talk in english. i was talking to another American missionary and we both were saying Portuguese words for "ingles" haha it was pretty funny when i realized it. You DOG!!!! I miss bass pro shop soooo much!!! I want to hold a gun and shoot one sooo bad haaahahahaaahahahaha it sucks so much not being able to. How ever I got to see a military squad take down a bank with some bad people inside haha it was sick. They had automatic m16's, pistol grip shotguns, and 45 magnums hahha i was soo jazzed!!!! haha it was sooo freakin' cool. that's cool that it played out good for Jake with Santa. Oh so the other elders got chased by a dog hahah it was going to eat them they said but they out ran it but now every time we pass a dog the one elder is shell shocked and is terrified of them even if its a little wiener dog haha. Tell Jake to quit dancing like he's a girl! haha teach him how to dance that'd be hilarious. If you don't then i'll teach him how to and dirty dance haha that's an awesome dance style right there haha jk jk. Give Daniel my email address and tell him to email me. and yes Heather you are the best big/little sister ever ;)
